Are you ready for some Summer Sunshine?
I’m so excited to share my July Kit of the Month Artwork with you!
The first layout in my new ‘Summer Vibes’ 12 page Scrapbook Workshop is called ‘Summer Sunshine’. This layout is featured in the BRAND NEW July/August Close to My Heart Catalog on page 7. It features the new Summer Vibes Scrapbooking Stamp and Thin Cut Set. (Item #Z3745)
I loved this layout from the first time I saw it in the new Close to My Heart Catalog and decided that I would try to recreate it! The Sunglasses were paper pieced by stamping them twice – once in Smoothie Ink and once in Fern Ink. I then cut out the lenses from the Fern Sunglasses and layered them on the Smoothie Sunglasses! So fun, right? The Summer Vibes Acrylic Shapes were really fun to work with and I love the ‘Summer’ title, palm tree and bright yellow sun on my layout! They really add a pop of ‘Summer Sunshine’ with that beautiful, bright yellow!
The wave stamp and thin cut were so much fun to use and really added some fun dimension to the bottom border of the page! I hope you love it as much as I do!
One of the easiest things to do to add interest and dimension to your layout is to sponge clouds using a stencil with a sponge and a Glacier Ink Pad! I just love the way this looks! Don’t you?
