Throwback Thursday Week 5

I am having so much fun completing a ‘Throwback Thursday’ layout each week this year! I would love for you to join me in this challenge this year. It feels great getting at least one layout completed each week.

This week’s layout features the ‘Paper Garden’ Close to My Heart Paper Collection, circa approximately 2007. The featured colors in this collection are Blush, Buttercup, Petal and Sweet Leaf. I just love this spring-y color combination!

Here is a photo of the layout I pulled out to complete this week. It was complete except for photos and journaling.

I found these photos from when I served on the Close to My Heart Advisory Board in 2007-2008. Our logo shirts and matching pajamas matched the Petal color beautifully! I included photos from our Advisory Board Retreat, including the beautiful room with a fireplace that I stayed in, the gifts we received and our professional headshots.

Here is the journaling that I added in case you’d like to read it.

I had the honor and privilege of serving on the Close to My Heart Advisory Board with all of these amazing women! Close to My Heart flew us all to Salt Lake City, Utah in September  2007 for an Advisory Board Retreat. We were picked up at the airport and taken to a resort in Park City. We stayed in the most amazing place and we were spoiled rotten! We had someone come into our condo and cook our breakfast every morning and we were taken out to dinner every night at amazing restaurants. During the day, we had meetings with Jeanette and the Executive Team and got to make decisions about new products and programs for the consultants at Close to My Heart. It was so much fun and I loved every minute of it! It is one of the highlights of my CTMH Career.

I added the photos and journaling and some number stickers to document the year at the bottom. The stickers were from the Paper Garden Stickease Assortment. Amazing that I still had a full package of the stickers that coordinated with this paper!

Make sure to join my VIP Group on Facebook, so that you can participate in our weekly ‘Throwback Thursday’ Challenge! It has been so much fun to see everyone’s layouts and the paper collections that are definitely a ‘Blast from the Close to My Heart Past’!
